It's New:
        2/1/07 - Beginners Bible Study Classes set for Tuesday
nights at 5:30 PM. First class to meet on Feb 6 at 5:30 PM.
       2/5/07 - Advanced Bible Study Classes set for Tuesdays at 2:
00 PM. First class to meet Feb 6 at 2:00PM.

  New Hours are 10am to 2 pm Tuesday and Thursday.

A new program for everyone who wants to take control of their
weight problems.
Those Stubborn Pounds
Starting January 15 at 7pm.
The group will meet every Monday at 7pm at the church, There will
be a weigh in and talk about healthy eating issues. Group leader will
be Linda Jenkins using the “Women's Day Weight Loss Plan” as a
guide for progress.
This program is open to every one who wants to learn how to eat
healthier and if necessary, lose weight in the process. There will
be a weigh in at the beginning of each meeting and the person who
has had the most weight loss that week will be chosen as Royalty
for the day and will get to wear the Weight Loss Crown.
There will be a class fee (probably five dollars) collected each
week and kept in a pot. Each person attending will put the name of
their favorite charity in a hat and at the end of the month a charity
name will be drawn and the weigh-in money will be donated to that
charity. Other options and things to do are open for discussion at
the meetings.

Exercise class
There will also be an exercise class lead by Rusty Ware starting
soon. It will on be Tuesday and Thursday evenings but I don't know
the time or beginning date as yet.

Happy New Year In The Name of Jesus Christ,

Starting into anything new always presents a challenge “if” we truly want to
change and grow for the “Kingdom of God”!
In this New Year Christ Church will be challenged in many ways as we
strive to fulfill the gospel of Christ to proclaim to all the world, the “Good
News”!
Our goals in the New Year will challenge us as individuals and as the church
to a transformation process to become more like Christ in loving our
neighbor.
This journey we are on is a life long process, which can only be accomplished
when the body unites together as the church of Jesus Christ.
This goal cannot be accomplished by one person or one group, but it will
take each person in our church working together to accomplish this awesome
task.
Therefore; let us start the New Year in anticipation of the great things to
come by looking back and seeing where we fell short, then looking forward
to set the goals that will grow our church for the future.
“Now is the time to begin fresh, letting go of the past and moving on to
greater things in the future!”
My challenge is that Christ Church will covet together to pray and seek God’
s face so that we will strive to live in the “NOW”! Not wishing our time
away, but enjoying every moment that God is giving us together, right now!
This will be a bountiful year for those who choose to live, work, and play
for the glory of God.
So I challenge you to come and be a part of this journey. Don’t wait till
tomorrow; NOW is the time!
